Twins 5, White Sox 2: Brian Dozier belted a three-run homer and Kevin Correia tossed seven scoreless innings as visiting Minnesota claimed its third victory of the four-game series.
Joe Mauer added a two-run homer to cap a five-run fifth inning for the Twins, who went deep 11 times in the series. Minnesota defeated its American League Central rival for the ninth time in 12 meetings this season.
After four scoreless innings, the Twins finally broke through in the fifth as Chris Colabello singled and advanced to second on a walk from Doug Bernier. Dozier then deposited a 1-0 slider from Jose Quintana (6-4) over the left-field wall for his 11th homer. Mauer followed Jamey Carroll's single with his ninth homer - and first blast since June 22.
Correia (8-8) rebounded from his second six-run performance in three outings by scattering five hits and striking out seven.
Casey Fien served up solo homers to Adam Dunn and Conor Gillaspie in the ninth inning before striking out the side to send the White Sox to their 17th loss in 21 contests.
